Here’s a little different approach to the litter/bedding situation. Looks like they used towels here – lots of them. Not a bad idea, although cotton towels tend to absorb moisture (that’s what a towel is for) and stay damp or wet. A lot of people are starting to use fleece (because it allows fluids to wick through and stays dry on top) with an absorbent material underneath – like a puppy pad. I suppose you could even cover a layer of towels with a layer of fleece. Maybe get a bunch of five-dollar towels at Wal-Mart and try it.

It’s a good idea when introducing two new males to each other that they meet on neutral ground. That looks like what they’re doing here – introducing them in a bathroom.

If you don’t like the idea of letting them run around on the bathroom floor – another good place to introduce two males is in the bathtub.

While we may not agree with this person’s choice of language, we certainly do aggree with the message. When you bring a guinea pig into your home, through no fault of its own, it has become totally dependent upon you for its survival and quality of life. A guinea pig is not a possesion or a piece of furniture. It is a living, breathing being and deserves to be cared for and kept safe and happy. In short, it deserves your respect as one living being to another.

As I said earlier, the presentation method may be lacking, but you gotta admire the passion…
