take many naps throughout the entire day, instead of at night.

This means that you can play and care for them throughout the day as they have plenty of energy and don’t fall into a long sleep. This is a big difference between

leaves you are few surprises around the house it takes little effort and time to clean up the mess.

They also don’t need to be taken for any walks or given a special environment, such as a specific room temperature. This makes them easy to deal with and a great pet.

All you really need to make a cavy pig feel comfortable is provide plenty of space and some basic material for bedding. Old newspapers work great for this. You also need to keep them hydrated throughout the day with plenty of water. On top of this, you need to ensure they have enough food, but this is very cheap to buy and lasts a long time.

As you can see, guinea pigs are cheap to have as pets and don’t require any high maintenance to look after.

Guinea pigs are unlike a lot of other pets that you may choose to have. They are quite independent and do their own thing if no one is about. You don’t need to give constant attention as you would with other pets.

Also, they are unlike dogs, cats, fish or rabbits as they are very easy to handle and deal with. This is because they are usually very friendly toward people and easy to make a connection with. Unlike other pets, they don’t take a long time to get used to their new owner. This is a big plus point when deciding which pet you would like to own.

Another good thing to factor in is that they wont bother you if they want to play. A dog will bark or scratch your leg if you don’t play with it. Guinea pigs will not demand your attention like this.

They wont make noise like a bird or other animal either. If you want a pet that is easy to care for but also offers you friendly warmth, then a piggie is right for you.
